In 2007, Bilateral Arquitectos S.L.P. was established by the architects David Valcárcel Marrero and Iván Pereyra León after several years of experience in local, national and international architectural practices.
Through a range of clients that includes both the public administration and the private sector, the Studio develops projects of a diverse nature – urban planning, new building, rehabilitation, expert appraisal, real estate valuation, project management, interior design and corporate identity. The close collaboration with other professionals – lawyers, engineers, quantity surveyors, graphic designers, etc. – allows a multidisciplinary approach that imprints quality and a vision of the future on our projects. Our studio has always worked under the premise of a philosophy based on the quality, excellence and technical rigor of its projects.
We see in our flexibility, desire to improve and knowledge, the key to adapt to each project’s particularities, and the ability to meet the client’s needs. We are faithful defenders of sustainability, and for this reason we promote and incorporate environmental and energy efficiency strategies in those projects that we are requested to do so.
In 2012, a second company was established, Bilateral Espacios S.L. as a consequence of the our clients growing demand for us to deliver turnkey project services. During this initiative, close and effective relationships have been forged with numerous sub-contractors which allow us to meet the needs of each work. In particular, Bilateral Espacios has specialized, above all, in Residential and Retail sectors.
